Necromolds: Monster Battles is an award-winning rules-lite miniature skirmish game designed for tabletop players of all experiences to enjoy. It was funded on Kickstarter in 2019 and released in 2021. We’re excited to finally offer it again through this Kickstarter to fund the second printing!
In the all-new Necromolds: Call to Arms expansion, you play as one of six powerful Necrocasters, unleashing uniquely devastating abilities upon your opponents and gaining ultimate control of your Necromold army! Equip your Necromolds with soul-haunted weapons and armor, leaving your enemies wounded in battle. Win by smashing all of your opponent’s monsters or by destroying their champion first!
1. Mold Your Army
Use your Necromolds’ Spellbooks and Spell Clay to create an unstoppable monster army! The stronger the monster, the more clay it demands — so choose your spellbooks wisely. Once you’re out of clay, your army is ready for battle!
There are sixteen Necromolds Spellbooks to collect and command! Each features a unique monster with its own powers and abilities.
2. Issue Your Commands
Roll and assign command dice to your spellbooks each round to move, shoot, and fight across the battle map toward victory! On the back of each spellbook are the monster’s abilities and the commands it can follow.
Like traditional wargaming, Necromolds uses a distance tool to measure and move the monsters across the battle map. This simplified measurement tool has close, medium, and far distance ranges. It’s the perfect introduction to wargaming!
3. Smash Your Enemies!
Use your Caster Ring to smash your defeated enemies into spiders, beetles, and mini-monstrosities – turning them into new obstacles!
